Re the Kamloops Cowboy Festival ... please read the following complete message carefully ... Unfortunately due to the circumstances we have no option but to cancel the Kamloops Cowboy Festival. If you have already purchased tickets you will be refunded on the credit card that you used to purchase them. There is no need to contact us. If you booked a room at the Coast Hotel in the Cowboy Festival block it will be cancelled automatically. If you booked a room somewhere else you should phone them directly to cancel. The March issue of our newsletter, which is basically the Festival program, is now on-line - see: Newsletter. In this issue you'll find the performers listed, the schedules, workshops, and pretty much anything else to do with the 2020 Kamloops Cowboy Festival. You'll also find the 2020 Joe Marten Award information, all the 2020 BC Cowboy Hall of Fame information and the Student Scholarship winners info. There's an article on an upcoming House Concert with Hugh McLennan, a note about Ian Tyson's appearance, and new info on the Cowboy cruise!

The names of the BC Cowboy Hall of Fame inductees for 2020 have now been released.
See BC Cowboy Hall of Fame for details.

Richard Tenisch is the recipient of the 2020 Joe Marten Memorial Award for the Preservation of Cowboy Heritage in BC and he will be presented the award Saturday night, March 21st at the Kamloops Cowboy Festival. Richard's bio and photo have now been added to the "Recipient" page on the . This and all the information about the award can be found on the Heritage Award page.
