Peter Grauer - Author
Alan Twigg, in his comprehensive and prestigious journal on
books in Western Canada, "BC Bookworld," has this to say about
a new first book by a Kamloops author. "Easily one of the most
remarkable titles from and about British Columbia in 2006,
Peter Grauer's self-published Interred With Their Bones, Bill
Miner in Canada, 1903 - 1907, is a 600 pager that exhaustively
documents and investigates the four years that the chronically
inept gentleman bandit Bill Miner spent in British Columbia
during the first decade of the twentieth century."

Former Douglas
Lake Ranch Manager Neil Wooliams emailed the author early in
the summer of 2006. "I am sorry to be finished reading (every
word of) your book; it has made a lasting impression on me.
Thank you for writing such a great history of this era, and
making it come alive for me." This book is the first detailed
look at that world 100 years ago in B.C.'s southern interior,
when the frontier was dying and the modern world was slowly
emerging.
