May 28th - 30th - 4th Annual Historic Ritzville Days Western Art Show.
The event will feature over 60 renown artisans - western artists, sculptors and authors. In addition, to the downtown art show, there will be food booths, youth activities and live entertainment. Four hours of cowboy poetry open mic sessions - including a 1 1/2 hour Saturday evening poetry open mic show before the dance. June 5th - the 2nd Annual Sand Crawl Cowboy Fest in Olton,TX
The Cowboy Fest includes an all Horse and Mule Parade, Old Tyme Fiddles, Cowboy Music, Bit and Spur Collectors, Gun Fighters, Native American Dances, stories and music. There will be a traditional Texas BBQ, an Authentic Ranch Chuck Wagon, and Stagecoach Rides. Along with Civil War Reenactments, Pioneer Women, Mountain Men, and much more!!! At Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas. In honor of the National Day of the American Cowboy - Fundraiser four - man scramble golf tournament at Green Hills Golf Club, Worland, Wyoming. Registration 8:30 am and tournament at 9:00 am. Registration before June 1st: $70 after June 1st: $85. Registration includes green fees, lunch, and cart rental based on double occupancy. First 50 entries before June 1st are entered in special draw for Cowboy Cookout Package (cooler, steaks, wine, & other goodies). Sponsored by Guardians of the Range, a non-profit organization working to keep ranchers on their BLM and Forest Service livestock grazing permits. A talented group of cowboy poets will be gathered at the Turn of the Century Saloon in beautiful down town Montrose Colorado, attending the worlds one and only Cowboy Poetry Rodeo and Workshop, where they will compete for $6,000 in prize money, Silver Buckles, Trophies and Braggin’ rights for the coming year.
