February 14th, 2015 - The 100 Mile House Cowboy Concert
in the Martin Exeter Hall, 100 Mile House. 2:00 pm Matinee or 7:00 pm concert. Tickets $15 per person available in 100 Mile at: PMT CHartered Accountants, 100 Mile Feed, the Log House Western Wear, and Work N Play. Phone in ticket orders or information 1-888-763-2221. Performers this year will be Tom Cole, Brian Salmond, Leslie Ross, and Jason Ruscheinsky.

March 12th to 15th, 2015 - Kamloops Cowboy Festival
Some of the best cowboy poetry and western music in the World!! Tickets went on sale November 1st at the Horse Barn in Kamloops and are also or by phone through the BCCHS at: 1-888-763-2221. March 13th to 15th - The Spirit of the West Rising Star Competition
will be going ahead this year at the Kamloops Cowboy Festival. We have enough entries now for the musicians and we're getting intrerest from poets (we need still more poet entries). Musicians - don't delay too long though, as we cap the entries at 8. See the Rising Stars page for details and an entry form.

April 10th to 12th - The 12th Annual Columbia River Cowboy Gathering
and Western Music Festival will take place at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Kennewick, WA. The event is organized by Budd & Judy Massengale along with the Columbia River Cowboy Gathering and Western Music Festival Board of Directors. One of the highlights of the above weekend will be the 6th Annual Cowboy Idol Competition for both poets and musicians hosted by Smoke Wade. There will be trophies along with $500.00 for first place and $200.00 for second place in both the poet and musician competition. In addition, all open mic performers will be judged throughout the weekend for the People's Choice Award with prize money and a trophy to the winner. September 18th, 19th and 20th - Idaho Western Heritage Festival
It will be held in Boise, Idaho at the Boise Stage Stop and will have music, a western town, civil war re-enactors, fur traders, and we have stars from the old tv westerns like, Laramie, Wagon Train, High Chaparral and movies like Stagecoach and so much more. There will be fast draw competition and cowboy mounted shooting. This will be our first year and we look forward to many years of fun, history and keeping our western heritage alive.
