July 19th - 20th - Squilax Pow Wow
attracts tourists annually in the third weekend of July. The Pow Wow celebrates the traditions of three local bands. An array of dances, including the jingle dress dance and the grass dance, are performed. Turn off Hwy 1 approximately 7 km East of Chase (Just over 1/2 hr East of Kamloops.

July 25th - 27th, 2008 - The BULL Festival in Eldorado, Texas
has always been heavy on cowboy poets in it's five years of existence, but in 2008, the event will be making some major changes. The event is moving to the T9C Ranch just outside the city limits and will convert to being a complete cowboy gathering with poets, musicians, chuck wagon cooks and anything else cowboy. A cowboy church service will be conducted on Sunday morning.
